Critical Elixirs project outcomes

Landfill HES basin treatment — July 2026

Conditions and baseline

Critical Elixirs treated landfill HES basin water with an initial turbidity of 3,300 NTU and pH 6.

Method

We bench-tested Clear Flow Go, ACH, and ACH blended with organic flocculants, then deployed Clear Flow Go at full scale.

Outcomes achieved

We reduced turbidity to below 50 NTU, achieving the bench-test treatment outcome during full-scale deployment.

Project dosing figures:

Clear Flow Go
250 ppm
ACH blended with organic flocculants
400 ppm
ACH
over 600 ppm

Project context and application

Results are from our July 2026 landfill treatment project. The figures below describe the chemistry options assessed for this water; confirm dose units, product concentration and test conditions before applying them to another treatment duty.

Treatment selection and dosing are specific to the water and operating conditions. We use representative jar testing and field monitoring to set each project’s operating programme. Discharge remains subject to the site’s approval conditions.
