Chemical manufacture & supply

Who this is for
Treatment engineers, procurement managers and chemical supply coordinators
Your operating priority
Secure suitable chemistry in a delivery format your operation can safely receive and use.
Before you specify or buy
Specify the treatment duty, required volumes, quality documentation, storage and delivery constraints. Compare bespoke and standard options on tested suitability.
Critical Elixirs field work
From representative samples to chemical supply
Real product samples, test water, transfer work and CLEARFLOW GO IBCs show parts of the formulation-to-supply process. Bespoke chemistry is selected against the duty; the photographs do not identify every formulation or establish manufacturing capacity.

Solid block samples supplied by Critical Elixirs. Shape and appearance do not identify grade or establish a release rate.
Jar test sample. Jar testing compares options on your own water.
Liquid transfer during field work. The photograph does not identify the formulation, concentration or dose delivered to a network.
CLEARFLOW GO™ supplied in IBCs.
Critical Elixirs · Bespoke treatment development
Septine: network-specific treatment development
We tailor Septine concentration to the network’s treatment requirements, informed by sulphide levels, alkalinity and septicity indicators.
In one sewer network, we progressed from Septine V1 operation through V2 commissioning to optimised V2 operation. Operating dose rates were approximately 116–118, 130 and 100–110 L/day respectively.
The September 2026 analysis showed a downstream mean H₂S of approximately 2.27 ppm for V2, excluding the 23 August–9 September dosing blockage. Separate 12 October observations were around 10 ppm, with excursions near 20 ppm at approximately 100 L/day. Ongoing monitoring captures changing network conditions and informs further optimisation.
Bench development continues alongside field operation. Later formulations are assessed separately before their field performance is established.

Straight answers
Frequently asked questions
- Can procurement teams source bespoke and standard water-treatment chemicals?
- Critical Elixirs offers selected bespoke formulations alongside standard market options. State the treatment duty, volume, delivery location and storage constraints. Product specifications, SDS, testing and supply arrangements establish what can be supplied; a bespoke formulation is not automatically the best option.
- Can you make a bespoke blend for our site?
- Potentially. Suitability is established through application review and testing. Bespoke chemistry is site selected; no universal recipe is offered.
- What supply formats are available?
- IBC and bulk supply are available for selected products. Volume, product and delivery location determine the practical format.
